The hotel is situated in the centre of Merthyr Tydfil, close to all amenities. The hotel has facilities for drying out and storing your fishing tackle. You would be 2 minutes away from the river.
These cottages are set in the middle of the Brecon Beacons in the village of Pontsticill. You are adjacent to the River Taf Fechan an tributary of the river Taff. The 1st 3 kilometres from the dam at Pontsticill Reservoir is fly only barbless hooks catch and release wild trout fishery. Pontsticill Reservoir holds a good head of Bream, Roach, Carp, Perch and Pike with many specimen fish. If you stayed here you would be adjacent to the Taff trail for horse riding, walking or cycling and on the other side of the valley from the hotel is the Beacons Mountain Railway.
