MTAA Permit Renewals & Forum Accounts

January 13th, 2011

The Association would like to remind all 2010/11 permit holders who are yet to renew, to do so as soon as possible. On March 1st at 00:00 the MTAA Forum will automatically de-activate any user account with a 2010/11 permit number.

However, keeping your Forum details up to date after you’ve renewed your membership couldn’t be easier; simply follow the three steps below.

  1. Login to the MTAA Forum with your username and password
  2. Click on the ‘User Control Panel’ link (situated at the top-left of the page)
  3. Click the ‘Profile’ tab

By accessing your ‘Profile’ you will be able to view and update your forum account details. Most importantly, please confirm and (where necessary) update your full name, address, and permit number, as these will need to mirror our back-office member records. Any account showing a 2010/11 permit number on March 1st will automatically be de-activated.

As the MTAA Forum is an exclusive, members-only resource, this is an annual exercise which makes sure that only up to date members have full access to the internal community that is the MTAA Forum; allowing members to share their fishing reports, catch photos, and to view members-only updates and announcements from the Association.

If anyone has any queries (regarding renewals, accessing your Forum account details, or indeed anything relating to the Merthyr Tydfil Angling Association), please don’t hesitate to contact either of the below Officers for further help.

  1. Tony Rees, Treasurer - 01685 723 520
  2. Gareth Lewis, IT Officer & Webmaster – 07540 813 399

Alternatively, please feel free to email the Association via our Contact Us page.

Detailing how to effectively clean and maintain your fly fishing reels, this maintenance article will guide you through the quick and painless process of re-lubricating your reels and is an exclusive resource to members only.
